Acceptable Use Policy

Vplaza is designed for safe, legal commerce in local neighborhoods. Sellers must not list, offer, or sell items in any of the following categories:

• Illegal Substances: Recreational drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia.
• Weapons & Explosives: Firearms, ammunition, tactical knives, fireworks, and other hazardous materials.
• Counterfeit Goods: Replicas, fake designer items, or stolen merchandise.
• Regulated Items: Tobacco, alcohol, prescription medications, or medical devices.
• Adult Content: Pornography, sexually explicit services, or mature items.

While Vplaza allows users to personally meet with buyers or sellers outside the app to perform local physical transactions, any transactions conducted directly through the app or website MUST utilize our built-in escrow system:

• Escrow Bypass for In-App Orders: You are prohibited from initiating or recording a transaction within the Vplaza application and attempting to bypass our built-in escrow system for that specific order. All checkouts processed through the platform are strictly backed by escrow.
• Confirming Falsely: Pressuring buyers to confirm receipt before physical handover has taken place, or claiming false non-receipt by a buyer after having received the product.
• Escrow Fraud: Submitting fake tracking details, manipulating dispute resolution requests, or colluding with others to exploit the escrow fund release.

We deploy AI tools to match buyers with local listings. You agree not to abuse or disrupt these services:

• Keyword Stuffing: Listing products with deceptive descriptions, tags, or keywords to manipulate the proximity-based AI search rankings.
• Scraping & Crawling: Automated extraction of local listing directories, pricing, or search results from the Platform without permission.
• Prompt Manipulation: Directly injecting malicious prompts into input fields to disrupt the system's AI model or retrieve unauthorized system parameters.

To keep Vplaza secure for local commerce, you must not engage in the following activity:

• GPS Spoofing: Falsifying your geographic location coordinates to show up in search results for regions you are not physically located in.
• Identity Evasion: Circumventing or attempting to bypass the National Identification Number (NIN) verification requirement (mandatory for sellers upon creating a store account and for buyers when establishing an escrow account to perform trades on the app), using stolen NIN credentials, or utilizing fraudulent identity documents.
• Malware & DDoS: Distributing viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or launching denial-of-service attacks against Vplaza network endpoints.
• Fake Accounts: Generating multiple dummy accounts to create false ratings, reviews, or listings.

Velux World Ltd reserves the absolute right to determine whether listings or actions violate this Acceptable Use Policy. Enforcement actions include:

• Immediate removal of the offending product listings.
• Temporary suspension or permanent termination of the user's account.
• Freezing of escrowed funds associated with fraudulent or illegal trades pending dispute resolution or law enforcement review.
• Reporting illegal activities and coordinates to local authorities.

If you discover a listing or user violating this policy, please report it immediately through the reporting option in the listing menu, or contact our trust team. Help us keep local shopping safe.
